History
The Horsemen's Association of Columbus County was established in the summer of 2003 by a group of dedicated horse owners, breeders, businessmen and the Greater Whiteville Chamber of Commerce. The Horsemen's Association of Columbus County is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-sectarian, and all volunteer organization governed by an elected Board of Directors and Officers.
Territory
The Horsemen's Association of Columbus County shall operate throughout Columbus County, North Carolina and outside the county in such places as will further the purpose of the organization and as permitted by law.
Mission Statement
- To promote the horse industry in Columbus County.
- To provide educational opportunities to its members.
- To provide members with the opportunity to develop working relationships
and to meet as friends and colleagues, thereby encouraging excellent achievements.
